Been using this JVK for past 24 hours. the phone is as slick as it can get. After a long long time i am on stock samsung image, without any lag fix and all that. just rooted it to get the titanium working. It is pretty good. no fc so far, and not faced any issue that you have listed.

i think i know why. mine is a i897 and this is i9000. that's why the problems i faced. Isn't it suppose to be good for all galaxy s?

Just came across the Samsung Galaxy 511. This is Froyo, 667 MHz processor and a slide out QWERTY keypad. Not too pricet either - Rs.10,990 on Flipkart. Also, spotted the Galaxy Pop there at Rs.8950. They seem to be twins but for the keypad. Looks like a good handset for those who like a set of buttons to type on.

Sir, I guess its a typo, is it Samsung Galaxy 551 I5510?

Seems its got more takers than the virtual key board ones, I really love one with a tactile KB. Virtual ones are disgusting and confusing at least for me.

I was of the same opinion too, until I got swype installed. It is just fabulous, you have to try it to believe it.

Any suggestions for a FREE MFE (outlook) client? The default one from HTC is not working with Exchange 2010 over wifi (Dont ask me why). Downloaded Roadsync and it works like a charm, but is a 14 day trial version. Have you folks used any other client which works fine with this setup?

My phone came with swype pre installed and am using it, that's why am of that opinion. Try to type from a tactile key board, you will go back to your first opinion.:)

Virtual key boards are confusing at times and consumes 50% of the screen real estate.

You can't enjoy the full benefits of a tactile keyboard with virtual or even with a querty kb. Its all just a fancy incomplete imitation at least for me.

Does anybody here has Motorola Defy..thinking of buying it this weekend, heard there are a few problems, defy users please help me out

guys, best place to get the Samsung Galaxy SL in Bangalore? All the big shops are quoting 21k+, but i hear the phone can be had for 19k or so.

@sajjt; I am sorry, it is indeed the 551. I agree that a virtual keyboard is just that virtual. Here you have the real thing. I have an Epic 4G (currently under repairs) and in terms of appearance etc this is nearly the same. I will try and get this to replace my Nokia 5230 soon.

I am using Idea internet for Rs.99/2GB. Vodafone also has similar plans. But it actually depends whether you have prepaid or postpaid. Internet rates for Idea postpaid are damn expensive. Something like Rs.100 for just 300MB.

I am also wondering. My Reliance postpaid EVDO plan is Rs.100 for 200MB!

Anyone here using Reliance Broadband?
I got myself a Belkin wireless router (http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPa...duct_Id=522108) for WiFi and I use Reliance Broadband in which I need to log in to access the internet. What I thought was that I would log in to my PC and then use net on my Laptop and Mobile, as the wifi supports maximum of 4 points. But as i connected, the Reliance Login page appeared, cant use net without logging in and if I log in from a remote device then i log out from my PC.
