Wanted a compact phone as my secondary phone and was waiting for the Asus Zenfone 9 to launch in the market but it never happened. Almost went the iPhone way but then waited for the S23 since the Google Apps would be better in Android than on the iPhone and easier to access files using Samsung Dex compared to iTunes.

Can you tell me how this Referral coupon thing works? Samsung shop app is telling me that I have to buy a product first and then I can start referring. I want to buy only this phone and nothing else.
Also if I am doing full payment i.e. without EMI using HDFC credit card then I will get 8000 cash back. Right?

I had bought S10 few years earlier and so I was able to get the Referral code based on that. I have PM'ed the referral code to you. Please see if it works for you.

The cashback is available for full payment, No-Cost EMI and normal EMI.

Check out the 5G bands supported in each model vs. the bands for the carrier you are using. You won't get 5G if they don't match. I've seen that many entry level Realme, Redmi etc don't have many 5G bands. Motorola is an exception - they generally have all the bands.

I couldn't get Samsung App welcome discount of 2000 but I still went ahead because Samsung is offering an extra 8000 discount for exchange of my old phone.
So the new S23 is 63999 from Samsung less 11570(3570+8000) for my old A50s phone which I bought for 18k 3 years back. Overall a net outflow of Rs 52429.

How are you even getting it for 64k? I can see starting price at 80k. Are you sure you’re talking about S23?

Then you haven’t read terms and conditions. You can choose either upgrade offer OR bank cashback. They cannot be clubbed together. :)

Plus the 5k you have mentioned for pre order is pre reserve offer one, right? It can be utilised only for accessories or did you get the option to redeem from phone cost?

I don't use my credit card and I am not familiar with the world of cashbacks.
According to attached Samsung invoice I got exchange value of 11570(3570+8000) buy no deduction of HDFC card cash back.
As Samsung states that cash back is instant so how do I know that I got the cash back of 8000 or not?
My credit card is showing only payment of 60429 to Samsung and not the 8k cash back I am supposed to receive.

Same for me. Ultimately settled only for referral discount amounting to 3k.

As you have exchanged your phone, you availed 8k discount. Again, you can only get either. Cashback OR Upgrade Bonus.

I was able to add both. Only the 8000 cashback is either through exchange or through credit card. I was able to club the 2 coupons along with the pre-reserve coupon as well making it 3 in total and was able to successfully make the payment.
