-an ergonomically designed driving seat and position
-pliant suspension
-less fatigue after long hrs of driving
- good in cabin nvh levels.
I can suggest you Tata Vista Refresh Quadrajet, as it comes standard with Lumbar support and has very good suspensions suited for both longer and short city commute.

I'm also suffering from the same issue as I have slipped disc both in the lower back and Cervical slip (neck), and I find the car to have better seating and driving condition for all types of roads.

About the noise levels, the car is much better noise insulated than Ritz or Swift as I have TD'd all the cars in the mentioned segment considering most having the same engines (Punto, Swift, Ritz, Vista).

Re: Hatchback with the best driving seat!!!

Guys, someone suggested me new Wagon-R VXI with ABS and Airbags.
Since it will be driven by my Dad only and he is a sedate and sensible drive, will it make more sense to get it over swift/ritz/i10?

How much mileage can I expect from it? Also, it has the same K10 engine which serves new Alto, right?

Re: Hatchback with the best driving seat!!!

@fastraj, sorry if i am hi-jacking your post.

As most of you know, i have a back problem because of an accident:

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/street...-my-spine.html

Recently i brought a used Indica V2 Turbo and i am having some issues, don't know if anyone here has experienced, so please help me.

The Driver's Seat doesn't look like its properly placed, I feel i am sitting in an awkward position and driving, after i drive for 1-2hrs in city traffic, i feel exhausted and i have back ache & Neck Pain, this never happened in my swift, even-though swift has rally suspension and the vehicle shakes heavily on every pot hole i never had any back ache's. Also there is no place for my right hand to rest, swift has a power button area where i can lean my right hand while driving.

I also feel i am sitting in a slanting position, i even did a air check, but it looks like all indica's are same, this has really disappointed me very badly, can anyone here help me to make the ride more comfortable and any modifications can be done ?

your suggestions are valuable to me.

thanks
John

Re: Hatchback with the best driving seat!!!

The new Indica Vista has height adjustable seats and lumbar support. You may check that. Or you can try fixing and customized aftermarket seat.

Re: Hatchback with the best driving seat!!!

I wish you had BEAT on the list. Like someone else mentioned, the seat literally hugs you! Also I find the lower back support phenomenal. I've often wished that my office chair in front of the computer was the BEAT's seat :-)

@archat68, thanks for the link, but its not the problem with my seats, seats are ok, but the ergonomics of the car isnt.

I feel i am sitting in a arkward position and driving and sometimes slanting on one side.
