Used Palio 1.2/1.6/1.9D ?

If you want a fun to drive Palio, it has to be 1.6! If you can find a good mechanic who can take care of the car, take a plunge. Also do NOT look at FE, maintenance woes & re-sale value if you buy one. I have a 1.6 GTX and I loved it more than my Swift D for the refinement and less tiresome long journey.

Both the cars I was looking at (Stile 1.6 and a 1.9) became unavailable. My search waned and waxed due to various reasons but still continues at slow heat.
And in Tamil Nadu, a 'well maintained' Palio does command a higher price than anticipated.
I reckon the petrol ones will be more acceptable to the wife - as the 1.9 would be noisy 'like a taxi'.
Will keep looking, till the 'chosen one' comes my way...
