For back seat comfort I would always go with Innova.
Innova taxis are there every where in India, from high reaches of Ladakh to deserts of Rajasthan.

He can also have a look at the Hexa or Innova, if comfort is the main criteria.
Will save about 15 lakhs for him! |
Yea but Tata is a strict No. He was one of the early customers of the Indica and the memories still cease to go away.
The Innova is the default option but the taxi image is what is a bit of a let down. Also the top end Innova is closed to 25L and that makes the difference between it and the CRV of only around 7L.

I could predict this statement coming, since he currently drives a Corolla. :)
Your math is correct, but if you look at a 10 year window. The resale of a 10 year Innova will be at 12 lakhs atleast, The CRV will not sell for more than 5 lakhs.

Hi, I was planning to buy a honda amaze D CVT, do let me know if anyone else is interested in mumbai to negotiate a better deal, one dealer has offered a discount of 90k. |
Too bad that I am in Pune. How much is the on road cost after discount? Also, which variant?
If Amaze VX diesel CVT falls at 10L at Pune, I am game. It costs some 11.6L on road, and 60k offers are going on. Any champ negotiator Puneite?

Count me in at this price. I don't think it's possible though. The Honda guy I talked to said that VX isn't even available in CVT :)
Any recent OTR quotes of X3/X4?
I want to replace my Santa Fe and feel the bs4 clearance is a good time to do it. But am not satisfied with the options. I test drove the Alturas G4 today and compared to when i drove it when it launched, the engine seemed punchy and gear shifting was decent. What absolutely surprised me was the bounciness above 60kmph with such light steering. All the things i had liked about the car got marred by this. Coming from the Santa Fe which is rock stable even above 150 this scared me a bit. The road was highway with little unevenness but no potholes or anything like that. Have never drove body-on-frame suv but if Endeavor is similar i have to rule it out too. I prefer car like characteristics of my Santa Fe. Tiguan i feel is small and Kodiaq is wonderful but underpowered compared to Santa Fe, which leaves options from luxury brands.
What would be best SUV under 45-50 OTR? It will be self-driven and prefer it to have at a minimum all the features of from cars below it. Want a med/full size car unlike Tiguan/X1.
Hi,
Does anyone know about the current offers on Honda Jazz VX CVT?
I am being offered 50k cash discount and a 20k exchange bonus
hi friends, I am looking forward to book a new Innova Crysta GX MT 7 seater vehicle. I find none of the 3 (Ravindu, Toyota, Viva) have cars available this month.
- Does someone know if any dealer has the above mentioned model in stock?
- Is there a possibility of new car production in NOV - DEC 2019 timeframe? I believe, Jan 2020 will see BS VI Innova Crysta and prices shall be hiked between 2.5 to 3.5 lakhs.

I believe there are big discounts on the Volvo XC60 at the moment. Scandia Volvo (Delhi) claimed to have some offers which they were only willing to discuss once you visit the dealership. With the discounts, the expected OTR should fit in your budget.

I doubt whether they will launch BSVI so early, when the official date is April 2020.

A friend of mine here got one two weeks back for 60. I don't think he got much/any discount.
A friend got one at Ahmedabad for around 51L.
Just stumbled on this news on Yahoo::Shockked:
https://in.news.yahoo.com/discounts-...080000387.html
Not sure how authentic this news is, but VW Polo/Ameo/Vento are all old wine in a spanking/shiny new bottle.
Whichever way one looks at it, a discount of more than 2 lakhs on the GTI'ish looking mainstream cars is for takers!! clap:
