Completely agree Deetjohn. Earlier scoop also indicated that Stingray will also get the AMT, if it is still to get AMT, They should instead plonk the AMT kit into regular Wagon R LXi.

Gaadiwaadi has reported that the Wagon R VX AMT will be priced at 4.76L. In line with the 40-50K premium Maruti has been charging for the AMT offerings over the manual variant.

In a related news, IAB reports that after the Wagon R, the Swift/Dzire will get the AMT technology. Expected this financial year (Before March 2016). The Dzire Diesel AMT had been spotted testing earlier. Not very clear if the Swift will get it or if it will be just for the Dzire.
