| ![]() Not really. The Terrano is currently considered an alternate to Ecosport only because there are no other sub 4 meter CUVs (not counting the jacked up hatches with plastic claddings). The Ecosport starts at 6.75L and goes upto 10.2L while the Terrano starts at 10.14L. Once Maruti and Hyundai launch their sub 4m CUVs, Nissan and Renault will need a product in that category and price band to stay competitive. It makes sense to have a sub 4m CUV priced between 7-10 L and a bigger CUV like Duster/Terrano priced between 10-13 L. |

Yes it is a nice looking thing but not very practical with its 4 seat capacity, I guess for India, with our silly "7 seater" madness! Last edited by Rehaan : 13th March 2020 at 11:04. Reason: Old post, but editing it to fix a small problem with mobile page formatting :) | |

| ![]() Nissan Kicks really looks good and it has all the qualities of compact SUV. Dimensions of the car looks more than 4m, but for india they can chop little bit and launch it as a sub 4 m SUV like Maruti Vitara Brezza and success depends if it is priced in 7-11 lakhs range. Hope they don't think to compete with Hyundai Creta in India from price point of view, as Creta is in different league. Overall, I am fully satisfied with Nissan Kicks. | ![]() Ahead of its scheduled official launch at the Rio 2016 Olympics (Related link here), the production-ready Nissan Kicks has been revealed in Brazil. The Kicks concept was first displayed at the 2014 Sao Paulo Auto Show. The production model is very much like the concept, without many changes in the design. Based on the V-platform, which is shared with the Micra, the Official car of the Olympics will have a naturally-aspirated 1.6-litre flex fuel engine producing approximately 110 BHP. The petrol/ethanol engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or an X-Tronic CVT. Different engine and transmission configurations will be available in markets other than South America. The Kicks measures more than 4 metres in length. However, in India, Nissan could shorten its length to make it a sub-4 metre vehicle. This will enable it to avail of excise duty benefits. When the Nissan Kicks comes to India, it will be put up against the Ford Ecosport, Vitara Brezza, Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta and the upcoming Honda BR-V. | ![]() To my eye, it looks like a facelifted s cross, it's not very sharp and feels very how do I put it feminine. Maybe the oodles of crome will save it if it ever comes to India. Nissan need a breakthrough product to penetrate the market and kicks just doesn't it. The kicks dint give any kick to me. |
