Checked all dealers in Bangalore. As of now no discounts or any other offers. Guess it's just been a month so that's not surprising.

Took delivery of the new Vento Comfortline DSL .. Carbon Steel.. Shall update with pics shortly!

Congratulations Raneeth! Wishing you many hundreds of thousands of kms of pleasurable and trouble free driving with your new ride!

I too have been mulling over taking the leap of faith towards the Vento TDI DSG! No other car that I drive gives me the feeling that "This is it!"

As long as such systems can be retrofitted then it should be fine. Already kicking myself about the lack of integrated bluetooth in my 2012 Vento.

You don't need to wait for manufacturer to get Android auto available in newly launched cars.
Pioneer already launched head units compatible with Android auto and car play. What's even better is single head unit is compatible with both Android auto and Apple's car play.

Hi,

Were you able to manage any discount or freebies.

Regards.

Regular corporate discount of 7k. Got 5k out for the touchscreen navigation. And floor mats and mid guards.

I also took my insurance from outside where I saved about 24k.

My point is that if a OEM headset will be fully compatible with the steering controls and probably is better integrated to draw vehicle data (sensors and other instrumentation probably). Android auto might have standard inputs, but the old vehicles may not have circuits to feed data into the device is what am thinking.

Great. Do you mind sharing which dealer? Because when i asked Palace cross & Elite motors a couple of weeks ago, I was told nothing!

Also what cover did you choose for insurance?

Hi Bhodrolok,

This was VW Hosur Road. Took insurance from FG. It's a zero depreciation B2B cover. Only problem is that it doesn't have a cashless facility which I was okay with atleast for the first and considering that the difference was 24k. After all, you don't intend to use it in the first year right?lol:

Thanks for the input. Wish you thousands of glorious miles on the new machine. Eagerly waiting for the ownership report. That carbon steel color is pretty sweet.

Also saw an ad in today's TOI for 9.99% interest for the Vento, any idea if this would be valid on the DSG+TSI version?

Talking about color, I actually wanted the Red which they discontinued.

The interest rates apply to all models. So does the Extended Warranty atleast as per VW Hosur.

9.99% is a bit of a joke. SBI offering 10.25% with no penalty prepayment for up to 7 years!

Hi,

Carbon steel is indeed very good color.

Eagerly awaiting pictures, since I wanted to see how much chrome is still there in CL variant :).

Regards.

SBI rates mentioned are floating rates. That's why didn't go for it. Flat was 10.5.

Have been traveling for past few days. Shall update with pics shortly.

Couple of questions , Is the touch screen navigation part of Philadelphia 835 system and does the touch screen give you rear camera view ?
