None reported here at least. Only reported issue (not a failure-But jerking related issues) here is by bhpian ahmadnaik in his 2013 Vento TSI DSG.
The info from the salesman is not really true. I have not seen and Rapid DSG issues also here, and if a problem can happen in the rapid DSG, it can happen in the Vento DSG.

Apologies for not being able to punch in the ownership review yet. Been a bit busy with a wedding in the family.
Did a Bangalore-Cochin drive last week and absolutely loved it. The cruise control feature was used (abused?) and loved the way the car goes mental while accelerating after breaking.
W.r.t the ground clearance, have driven around with 4 in Bangalore on the pretty bad Begur Road and haven't had a problem. Also, haven't yet encountered the infamous Vento rear thud while going over a bump.
Also remember someone ask about the White Vento. Saw one in Kerala. Looked pretty nice ; nothing outstanding though.
Well booked a white one, should get it in 3-4 weeks. Hoping to get it soon. Waiting for your ownership review though.

White color looks much better in the facelift. I wanted to see CL variant to compare chrome treatment on the bumper. Waiting for Raneeth to post some pics of his CL TDI DSG.

Just wondering why the delay. I see that your car probably even has a registration plate and yet you need 2-3 weeks to get your hands on it?
Is this some sort of a run around from the dealer or your choice to get the car at a leisurely pace?

I believe he was not able to see white color of New Vento facelift in the showroom, hence dealer might have shared picture of car delivered earlier to some other customer.

Exactly. I was unable to see a white one in test drive or the cars on display in the showroom, so they sent me the pics of a white HL which was delivered to another customer.
also in the CL, the chrome on the front and rear bumper are replaced with a cool black strip. I plan to sticker out the chrome strip with black once I get my car.

I know I have been tardy in my updates. The problem is I haven't had quality time to spend clicking pictures with the car. I am uploading a couple of pics from the day I first met her.
Very abstract pics since that's all I have now. Wouldn't want prospective buyers to wait. ;)
The car is now closing in on a 1000 kms.

Thanks a lot for posting picture of CL variant, could you please tell us if the interior of CL is "all" black or does it have two tone scheme like highline. Since CL comes with steel rims are you planing to get OEM/aftermarket alloys?

The CL variant is all black. If you have seen the Cross Polo, it's similar without the silver linings around the vents.
I was thinking of going for Momo revenge 15' and was quoted 29k for a set of 4.
Then I saw another set of Alloys belonging to a GT tsi. Confused now. Any advice?
