Looks like this vehicle will be launched in the middle of next year.

"he first car on the Alpha platform will be launched in the next 6-7 months"

This is most likely to come with AMT? Baleno, i20 and Jazz all have CVT, and the new Figo would probably get TC.

They might go with shark fin in the top variant, but the position of the antenna will not vary across variants.

So, this particular point will not help us decide which variant this car is.

Yes actually a lot. It's big.. spacious and has good road presence. And yeah... Rear door handle is close to the C pillar..which is what put the doubt in my mind of being an i30

Looks too small in the shot where the rear three quarters is shown.

Wont it be difficult to sell this in huge numbers.

The centre console theme resembles Hyundai i30's.

Looking at the instrument cluster, I feel its similar to Tata Harrier. Its a new trend by Tata Motors and all future models will carry this similar style, Digital Tachometer & Analog Speedometer.

I feel that Tata should add some 3D elements to make the analog speedo look more appealing, or ditch the analog setup completely to make the entire instrument cluster digital.

I am already wishing that the JTP version of the 45X hatch have the following
-Paddle shifter.
-1.6L turbo Petrol.
-Power output rated at approx 150-180bhp.
-Approx 280-320Nm of Torque.
-Other functional aero appliques.
-Dual Exhausts/Quad Exhaust tips.
