Is it a technical problem or has someone purposely reported the video ?

Priced extremely well.
Both, the diesel and petrol have impressive power atleast on paper.
Diesel engine is also larger as compared to its chief rival, Vitara Brezza.

I wish Nexon gets success just like Tiago got in the small car segment.
Also, looking at Nexon, it just doesn't feel ordinary or even small. Design looks quite proportionate or is it just the fresh design, I dont know. How will the design age can be answered only with time.

Front end looks impressive, has that SUV presence IMO thanks to a larger grille.

With this pricing, I expect Ecosport and Brezza to have some impact on sales figures. Way to go Tata ! I am happy and feel proud that Tata is making a strong comeback. Going by the reviews, its almost segment leader. Eagerly waiting for Team BHP review ! Petrol option is a plus, and 110 horses at Rs. 5.85 lakh ex-showroom is just awesome.

Fantastic Pricing at 5.85 lakhs starting for Petrol. The top ends attract lot more cross-segment purchase attention.

Good pricing compared to competition and the offering.
Awaiting Bangalore on road prices.
My brother is going ahead with his booking. He made his booking prior to official booking started. Dealer has promised delivery in the first lot, crossing fingers for an early delivery

Lack of six airbags is a real fly in the ointment, this would have made the Nexon a perfect car.

Good pricing. Almost on par with the expectaion in TeamBHP. Competition should worry.

But I see its introductory pricing. Hope they dont increase it too soon.

Looks like the media agency has really messed up the launch!

The Petrol XM variant will simply kill the Tigor or whatever is left of it.

The Nexon will be priced at least 30-40k lower if not more. I am expecting the top end around 9-9.3 ex showroom Delhi.

Let's wait and watch

Quoting myself. I got it spot on I would say lol:

The pricing actually makes a lot of sense. Just will have to check the on road price now!

Excellent pricing for both Petrol and Diesel variants. Lot of cross shopping expected.
Only odd thing I feel is the variant distribution. XZ+ in isolation looks competitively priced but difference in XT and XZ+ is whopping Rs 1.30L which IMO is not a norm in this segment.

Good luck Tata.

Pricing for the XM and XT variants are excellent.
Especially, the Petrol XM, with 110 Horses, is a steal at Rs 6.5 Lakh ex-showroom.

The XZ+ variant is priced a slightly steep though, a premium of Rs 1.2 Lakh over the lower XT variant.

Excellent Pricing and in-line with what most expected from TATA. I think I will check the XM Diesel Model this weekend and book it.

But before that I am eagerly waiting for TBHP Review. Let me know when its going to be published

Regards

Not very surprising considering the feature list on the XT. It does not have any of the elements that made the Nexon appealing!

What it lacks compared to the XZ+ -

- The looks. Lacks alloy Wheels, projector headlamps, DRLs etc.
- The much appreciated Touchscreen Audio
- 8 speaker audio (It gets 4)
- The much appreciated grand center console with the sliding tambour door.

On second thought - 1.3L does seem steep for the above, but still prices it below the competition. XT even misses out on essential 60/40 split of the rear seat. Hopefully, TATA might bring an XZ variant soon in between these two, to bridge the variant gap.

Good pricing. Undercutting both the rivals. Ecosport facelift will surely widen the gap as it will see at least 30-40k increase. Nexon may sell or not, but one thing is for sure that Tata is progressing really well. And, good competition is always healthy for us buyers.
I expect a 2-3k steady sales at least for the first 6 months.

I predicted this pricing range last month:D

I did a similar prediction for Compass as well which was correct. Next time you know whom to contact for price prediction:D

XM and XZ+ are VFM and are the variants to buy. The XE and XT are to be avoided . The XE is too basic and the XM gets a lot of basic kit for just 50K.

The XZ + has the fancy features like the DRL's, projectors , alloys, fancy centre console , rear defogger/wiper , push button start, reverse camera , adjustable seat belts and driver seat, floating touch screen , 60/40 split fold rear seats with armrest . All for 115000 over the XT.

The XT model is poorly kitted for a 65000 premium over the XM . It only has ACC , roof rails ,rear air vents , power folding ORVM, painted mirrors and door handles and cooled glovebox . If I were in a tight budget , I would skip the XT and pick the XM to save a cool 2 lakh over the XZ+.

There is no compelling feature in the XT.
As mentioned by others before, too many features are concentrated in the XZ+. They could at least bring in rear defogger in the lower variants .
