Going by Mahindra's logic, I reinvent myself everyday by sporting different moustasche styles. They've not even upgraded that prehistoric dash.

Just checked out the website. They are still using the old Armada body shells. Apart from the Scorpio, looks like every Mahindra Jeep design starts and ends with the Armada. I expected a more rounded design. I love the old Bolero for what it was a no non sense work horse. But in 2007 I expected it to get the CRDe engine. The SLX could also do with alloys as standard

Pretty disappointing this

Yuck.. is the word ..!! What were they trying to acheive by bringing on those ill-fitting Scorpio style headlamps, and grill? the older version looked a lot better...

The bumpers also seem to have grown a goatie, ala the Scorpio.

The biggest market for this new bolero will be.......
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
1) Wannabe Scorpio owners who are on a budget...
2) Chamchas of politicians who cannot afford a Scorpio / Safari and so on
3) Tourist taxiwallahs who will fool unsuspecting travellers by slapping "Scorpio" logo on it.

I agree with you. Btw, lets ask them why did they forget to change the wheel cap design? Believe me or not, but somehow they are good at that...See the present (Now Late Bolero) generation jeeps and also of the scorpio.

Did anybody see the engine specs?
The 4X4 version is NA and makes 68 BHP and the 2 wheel drive model has Turbo powerplant that makes 63 BHP!
Besides the 4X4 version has leaf springs all-around, as aganist Coil Spring suspension for the 4X2 varient... so much for the Mahindra R&D.

P.S. Forgot to mention the looks, only one word YUCK! Bolero has lost its identity, the jeep lineage.

Yuck. Apart from what was mentioned above, the mp3 player looks like it is a local unbranded system.
Looks like Mahindra stole a page from the books of Maruti in upgrading cars.

Royally messed up the vehicle. The older one was better. A rounded make of the body would had done the looks.

For ppl who are not in for looks the SLX 4WD will be help.
Lets wait n watch wot the performance has to say....
