People that buy Tiago will be mostly first time car owners or upgrading from A segment cars with horrible three cylinder engines. The one in Tiago isn't all that bad, at least within city speeds. I'm not sure about the diesel because I haven't driven it. |

Nope. NVH is not an issue at least in my Tiago D. The only issue I find is turbo lag. Rest all is great. It's an amazing car to use in City and extremely competent on highways if you stay within 120kmph speed. In fact Tiago NVH is much better than our City Diesel. |

| ![]() Mine is a 2016 Tiago XZA and never felt the power was inadequate in both city and highway. The typical AMT vibrations are no longer an issue if you know how to tame the throttle input. In sports mode it's as good as my Figo 1.5 AT with much more sorted dynamics. |

| ![]() We have a March 2018 XZA. And no, NVH isn’t an issue at all. Yes it’s not Hyundai quiet, but it’s not that bad either. Great city car, equally solid on the highway, fuel efficient and overall build quality feels sturdy. The only grouse is that the AMT box is sometimes irritating. Slots into the wrong gear sometimes and also jerks a lot. Overall, It’s my wife’s daily driver and we are very pleased with it. |

| ![]() Few things that I want Tata to do with the Tiago update: 1. Add more insulation to reduce NVH. 2. Fine-tune the gearbox to reduce jerkyness in first and second gears. (AMT) 3. Tiago/Tigor front seat setup is best in class just need a centre armrest that will make it even better. 4. Put the Tigor-like end-to-end third LED stop lamp on the Tiago, looks super cool! |

| ![]() Saw a completely camouflaged Tigor today morning near the Tata factory Chinchwad. The car was at above average speed for that piece of road. There was no black smoke when the car was accelerated hard right after a speed breaker. So, it might have been a petrol car. Though it's just a guess. Could not click any pics as I was driving. Will try to get it on the next spotting. |

| ![]() Since most posts here are a bit optimistic let me present a slightly more negative view. Looking at how Tata Motors has been losing money pretty badly and the news about them silently deleting features from their cars, I'm currently a bit concerned about the Tiago refresh. I hope they don't make some cosmetic changes, update the touch screen, jack up the prices but do a bunch of cost cutting underneath. What do you guys feel? |
