Exactly, that was my understanding too which is why I was surprised a bit. Perhaps the dealer is talking about the MY22 which is already up for delivery since December this year. BTW various posts on the 2023 Superb hints at an fully revamped interior. Skoda has a huge flair for design language. I am waiting to see what the new update brings. And I am waiting right now to see what the Kodiaq brings in.

I believe that Skoda dealers in Mumbai and elsewhere have received the first lot of the new Kodiaq,

- Expected to be formally launched in first week of Jan '22.
- Only the L&K variant being launched now.
- On road price in Mumbai ~ 44 lakhs.

I feel that pricing the Kodiaq @ 44 lakhs for a petrol variant is off by at least 3-4 lakhs, keeping in mind the Tiguan @ 38 lakhs.

Any reactions from fellow BHP'ians ?

Unless and until we know the feature list in L & K it's difficult to comment about the price. The big problem with the latest 35+ lkh On-road launches is sad feature omissions even for the CKD models. If they launch kodiaq with all the bells and whistles (read ventilated, massage seats , virtual cockpit, radar features, and more ) and keep it as the best feature-loaded model
then the price will be justified.

Thank you Sid for the info. How confirmed is the launch timeline?

I hope L&K comes with no blank switches - then the price would look pretty good.
Kodiaq in Europe comes with ventilated seats in the front and in middle row. Will have to see how much of these features are carried over at this price point.

Skoda Kodiaq facelift launch on 14th Jan 2022.

Skoda’s first product for the year 2022 will be the Kodiaq facelift. The updated seven-seater SUV will be launched in India on January 14, 2022. The variant lineup will include Style, Sportline and the top-of-the-line Laurin and Klement (L&K).

My office is in the same building as the local Skoda dealership. I have been seeing a covered car on the showroom floor for the past 3-4 days. Most probably it is the Kodiaq.

Yes the pricing will be atrocious but its expected looking at the competition which is negligible.

Skoda Kodiaq facelift prices to be announced on January 10th, deliveries slated to begin from January 14th.

Expect a step up in the prices as well, costing upwards of Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom).
