I asked a question to you. I have no idea about the Fiat and civic.

Again. Do you have any info about the mileage of verna crdi?

Search the forum and you'll find plenty of info about the mileage of the Verna CRDi.

The test drive section says,
12.3in city 16.6 in highways for Verna crdi.

Fiat will beat this by providing the extra 2km/l. Very good for city driving.

I am not sure if someone has pointed this to you... but I have noticed that in every thread that you post, somehow you just bring civic in the picture. Even here where we are discussing Fiat GP and i20. Now I know you own a civic and its truly a great car no doubt, but I just dont see relevance here. I had seen it in other threads as well, so thought I'd point out.

Oh come on now people. Lets concentrate on the topic at hand - The Fiat GP. I have a few pictures of a 3 door Punto. It looks aaaabsolutely majestic. Can Fiat India give us something similar in terms of colour, looks or quality in the 5 door version? Only time can tell.

Thanks for those pics. I have made them my Destop Background.

You are most welcome friend :)

I was wondering that this model is since 2005 and we would be getting it in 2009 but i havent seen any spy pics or read some information regarding the next gen punto. In four years atleast fiat should have developed atleast a replacement for the international market.

Nice pics!
The front view is simply awesome, mini maserati there.
Also the black punto in the background also looks good.

Hey !! This 3 door version looks magnificent !

this will rock on Indian roads hope fiatindia don't screw this time with designs only to give Indian look to punto

The design will be same, but India won't get the 3-door version.

it looks amazing pics, only if FIAT will bring a sports 3 door version with turbo petrol engine please:...... that wud be dream comes true :D

When the mods have closed the Linea thread, we might as well close the Punto thread. As Punto is not even close to being launched compared to Linea. I guess both cars have been indefinitely postponed.

as far as this thread is not into arguments I guess the MODs will wait...

lets only post pics and info related to punto

As far as looks are concerned, I have to say GP is miles ahead of i20 (this coming from a definitive i20 buyer!). GP is just beautiful, stuff of dreams. i20 does not appear to exude any definite character. Its more like bits and pieces of Peugoet 207,Swift,i10 etc.

I just hate it that GP is from Fiat, a company that does not have same commitment to Indian market and Indian buyer as Hyundai has.

Personally I feel the same. I have seen striking similarity between I10 and a lot of MAZDA models here in US. A lot of styling cues are taken from Mazda. But i've never seen anything that look similar to a Grande Punto except the front end treatment of the Maserrati.

No offense for Hyundai please. Its just that they are too much influenced by the "HIT Good looking cars" all over the globe.:D

People have lots of expectations from Fiat, and everybody is waiting for their new launch. Punto is a great car with looks. Especially i like the long throw from window. I think pricing and service will play a major role for Fiat. their 1.3multijet is already doing the duty.
