Just an observation these days on Delhi roads... New Santros (and i mean new!) and accents and even Sonatas have a sticker on the rear window which reads: "My next car: Hyundai Getz"
That suggests two things to me... cannot disclose as that may not sound good to my friends who own Hyundai cars(especially new ones)....::

I personally think the Getz is dead... even before it completed its first birthday... poor baby.. has to go... too much pricing.. ordinary performance..
... why the hell i wont buy an esteem or an indigo or even a flair for that much price(or a few thousands more..)...
goodbye Getz!..

Major part felt that Getz is overpriced. Still Getz is maintaining the same price & the sales would have improved a lot in comparison to its launch time. Thanks to Swift for creating an awarness on this B plus segment. It would have been interesting to watch if getz slashes 50 to 75 K,

anyway they are offering discounts upto 50k

This thread may 2 years old, but I still think the Getz is one of the better hatches we have around, & definitely better value than the Swift.

It's well built, solid, spacious & has a decent gas mileage - things that should count in this segment. Agreed, it is a bit overpriced, but I guess dealer discounts are taking care of that now. Unfortunately, it hasn't enjoyed the blazing sales success of the Swift, which I feel is quite rattly & poorly packaged, although a fantastic looker.

I too wasn't with TBHP in 2004, so just got a chance to vote and voted 'Yes'. Even after two years, question remains same and so does the answer.
