actually i think tints with a silverish finish would look cooler ...
man u look like the wrong guy to mess with there dude ...
i like the red decals but lay of the mugen TRD ...
things like OZ, automech and all still look good but with the TRD and mugen u look like a wannabe more then a car enthusiast

Well all my other cars had the black tint but for this car i prefer not to because it quite difficult to drive in the night when its raining. And this bangalore traffic is getting worse everyday. As for the looks i agree with you guys.

Yeah please do that.
Seeing your car in black is the only reason i am tempted to go for this car apart from its power

Hey maybach,
the baleno is a car which looks bland in stock form but can be souped up real easy to look like a stunner.
In the market there are a variety of alloy wheels which compliment the car very well.

hey, i just got to see this thread, and i'm a bit surprised that the baleno's being knocked about!

i read here that the baleno is out-handled by the petra. i don't know about stock tyres, but i have a pair of 185/70 r13 goodyears, and the car feels literally glued down to the ground. i had the choice of much larger wheels, but i wanted the same ride comfort too. i can only imagine how much sharper the handling would be with low pro tyres. it goes exactly where you point it, with only a little hint of understeer (it IS fwd!!)

i love my car!!

Viper dude,
after the sad demise of the city VTEC, there are only 2 cars on this site which are being recommended to enthusiasts.
They are the baleno and the petra.
We all love the baleno out here and there are few who hate it on this site (petra oners excluded) as it along with the petra is one of the best cars in india.
Good performance, comfort, price... what more could one ask for from these 2 cars?

lambo

sad demise is right! i used to have a 1.5 exi, and i only ever got blown away once, by a vtec. recently re-acquainted myself with one on bangalore's very fast (and luckily very empty) ring road, and now my baleno feels like an 800.

when you buy a "performance" car, A.S.S. is doubly important, because constant high revs for 40000k or so are known to compromise the head gaskets, just to name a single flaw. this is where maruti is unbeatable.

i wish i had a...
