You are right. For actual view, there is the BSM article available, and they did not find the handling too bad.

I would vote for the Palio 1.6 stile. Even thought the CRDI engine is very amazing, the build, drive quality and stability is better for Palio....

Its the Getz CRDi i voted for. Palio is too old now, it should retire gracefully.

Getz is fabolous on performance, space, quality, ride and A.S.S

40% for the Palio. Well thats proof for how great the car was at the time of launch. I think it was launced even before the indian market was ready for it. That could be one of the major reasons for its failure.

If the market is ready now, it is still there. But nobody is picking it. Isn't Stile a new launch? Its never late or early to launch a good product.

Power = Getz
Handling = Palio
Looks - Palio
Sports = Hot = Italian = Palio

Space and FE are not considerations if you are looking for Hot hatch....if you want a best family hatch..Getz is the way.....

Are Korians really into Hot hatch business...I dont think so....only power does not make a hatch hot......let Italians take the podium....

Do I need to mention whom I voted

1.6 Sport is in a class of its own.
Since you have the driven both the Cars, you are the best person to judge and you have already pronounced the Winner - Palio 1.6 Sports!

Though in the Indian market for last 6 years, Palio 1.6 still RULEZ!

since the topic is about hot hatch, my vote goes for palio. i would prefer petrol over diesel and for the price factor palio is a steal.

I dont understand why would anyone want to buy a 8+ year old car when there are much better cars available. I mean look at how Fiat advertises it the Fiat of the new generation. Is new generation just new lights and beige interiors?

Its high time Fiat calls it a day for the Palio, and i am sure once the GP arrives the Palio will be discontinued finally.

OT - There should have been the Swift in the poll also, since it handles way better then a Palio.

However the game has moved on. The stile may be a new launch but the engine remains the same, whereas in Brazil what sells now is 1.8R. Bring the 1.8r in India and see the GETZ hiding for cover. But then in India, the 1.8R will also be a huge flop, because people prefer warmth of spending less on Fuel.

if it is about a hot hatch then it has to be the palio 1.6. Getz in any variant (i.e Petrol or Diesel) does not even come close to the Palio in any department apart from space. but then I would not look for space in a hot hatch. so obviously 1.6 gets my vote.
