Why do people still buy the ZEN?

before i picked my zen. many asked me to consider the wagon-r and santro and also the alto...but none turned me on like the zen.

True. I also thought of Santro and Wagon-R and even Alto. But somehow before i could realize what i have done i ordered a black zen, of course with the "full" support of my wife who did not even consider wagon-r as a choice inspite of my explainations. Now having bought a zen, and having it for the past 2 month, i believe its the best choice i could have made. Atleast i am not that tall and hence for me interiors dont seem cramped... I love everything about the car !

Now i am seriously looking for waxing and car care products, the preserve its shine.

Its certainly a great car, no matter how outdated it gets ... not that others are bad, frankly in my test drives i had decided not to go for zen and wagon r felt great. But something in zen made me go for it .. if i think rationally i still dont know what !!!! :-) But all is well that ends well.

well for a starters santro xing,wagon-r dont look that good(atleast to me),the palio is surely a no no because of its ASS and expensive maintainance..so what are we left with alto (too small and underpowered), 800 (too outdated) and wait now im running out of options..so u see why the zen still wins though its termed oudated..

why i chose zen ????
simple.. ever heard of a b-zen or a e-zen !!!!!

well its the best small car to carry out mods on guys...and the new look(one which many didnt like) can be made to look better with a good bodykit..

I guess B-zen is a Zen with a Baleno Engine.. and E-Zen is the one with the Esteem engine...

I think Zen is way past its shelf life. The quality is not par with competition, the space sucks and its very cramped. Having owned Zen in the past, and owning Santro Xing now, I can say without a doubt that Xing is a better package.

the santro speaker pods (atleast the version i drove) hit my right knee. atleast with the zen my knees are safe.

since we got an e-zen and a b-zen why not a v-zen (zen with Vtec engine).

haha..good one lol..imagine a 235 bhp zen..wow i would be 1st in the line with my car then..unfortunately it cant be done

unless i can fit the engine in the passenger cabin and also find a place to seat myself and control the levers and the wheel..

btw skonda would be a honda with a skods vrs engine lol..i would rather prefer a zenda=zen+skoda
imagine how cool would that be to go around telling people that i beat a skoda vrs in a zen da (read my zenda)..

why not the crazies here have done worse (read the bad car day thread). the reason i hang out at ICE is that compared to the nutties here (they give me a complex and I thought i was a nut job) we over at ICE ar quite normal.

I had a zen(2001) and it was a real joy to drive, nice peppy engine...but i think the new facelifted zen looks ugly.. the old zen had real cute looks..
