Woooh!!! That is some aggressive pricing. Its surely gonna sell and eat up sales of other cars in the segment or even SX-4.

Can't understand part of pricing from MSIL. It will not only create problems for competitors but also for their own models.

Dzire Lxi can eat up some part of Swift Lxi sales & Dzire ZDi can eat up part of SX4 Vxi sales.

I dont think MSIL bother much if its car eats into sales of its other car.
As long as it sells and it overtakes the competition i don think they should be worrying much. But expect a long waiting period for the Dzire especially the Diesel one!

The launch of dZire, coupled with the above news will trigger a price war! Interesting times ahead!

If dZire eats into Swift's sales, I think MSIL would be happy.
Not in the case of SX4. MSIL better do something in this department. Where is the 1.9 MJD? We'll be very happy to see it coming soon.
What 1.9 MJD are you talking ? people here will soon demand the 2.4 L (2387 cc) MJD for swift ? as if a mere renaming the engine as DDiS fools the Indian buyers into thinking its miracle of Suzuki's award winning engineers. no wonder Fiat has been foolish to sell the rights to manufacture the engine to other brands killing its own brand.

As per some electronic media (CNBC), all models of the DZire (LXI, VXI, ZXI, LDI, VDI, ZDI) come with SRS Air Bags. Now we need this to be confirmed by Ram or wait for it to show up on the website.

Why are so angry pal ? You still need a good car to put a engine into. Maruti might succeed even if they put a DiCOR in.
