reduction in price of wagonr or offering huge discounts would make the A STAR A better package

I met couple of guys from Garuda Autocraft, who had come to my neighbors house with a WagonR and Zen Estilo for their test drive, yesterday.
When I asked one of them about the Astar, he told 16th Nov as the date.
And I asked him whether the car has come to Bangalore, he replied that its in Bangalore but in a training center (not sure where that is in B'lore).
He expected the on-road rice to start from 4 to 4.5L.

Still no clues as to when the car is going to be launched. But I have heard that Maruti Suzuki A-Star is the best car in its own class with the best car technologies. I have also heard that A-Star is also compliant to ELV (end of life) norms. This means that the substances used for car production can be recycled.

That looks too funky.
The website doesn't really look genuine, does it? Might be some Maruti insider has done this. The registration information doesn't look complete. What say guys?

@blue_pulsar:
The site does not look genuine to me also.
But this can be to detract people from spreading the news.
IIRC, in case of earlier launches also, the information was available like this. But it turned out to be full fledged website.
So its better to wait and watch rather than trust now at this point of time for me atleast.
Maruti wont display the certificate it got to display a TV add in its official A-star website.

It shows the same banner /advertise and when clicked on that it directs you to the above mentioned site that is "The screening room".

The site looks genuine to me. Why would anyone fake it? Also the site design seems to be professional.

I think, outside of TBHP, there is nobody so car-crazy to go about creating an entire realistic looking fake site just for fun.

Very True, the site and date of launch is real as same dates are showing on marutisuzuki website with a flash Banner on the top and when clicked on Know more it takes you to marutisuzukiastar site.

The Site is for real.

Exactly.
I have observed the link from main Maruti Suzuki website taking user to this new A-Star launch site.

I didn't feel it was a fake site & that's the only reason why I have posted it on T-BHP

The A-Star website is very funky and is managing to create some excitement about the launch. They even have a countdown clock going. Maruti has always been very good at marketing their products.

P.S. When will Fiat learn?!
