Center Console?

Is it so that the console remains the same for LHD and RHD? A big saving for a vendor in many markets.

Central mounted console is not new... whatever, its yuck, i drive my car and i need to be in control of it. I don't want someone sitting beside/behind me gawking at the meters and initiate a back seat driving

the centre instrument console/ cluster is not a new trend
this has been used from quite a long time ago - remember the old Amby Mark II and Mark 3?

all these trends are cyclical in nature rather like fashion - interesting though that someone is touting it as a new trend.
