I think 'After the Sunset' was shot in Bahamas and one can see a Versa along with a Santro/ Atos (The Zip Drive one).

This Ambassador belongs to my friend who lives in Surrey, UK.He is Spares Secretary of the Morris Cowley, Oxford and Issis Owners Club, Oxford , UK. I received his email with these two pictures of his just restored Ambassador, which he and his wife have named as Sachin after Sachin Tendulkar.Incidentally the couple is an avid cricket fan and were too impressed by Sachin's indelible impression on the cricketing scene.
Note the Morris logos on the bonnet and on the hubcaps too. Also note the original taillights and the plasticky dashboard of the Ambassador. They had been restoring this car and had recently got some taxi pictures from India mailed by me, to adapt a colour scheme. My friend has himself restored the car and was lately talking about the winter chill and how they had used the heater to warm up their workshop and spray paint the car.The car was latelyready for their annual Ministry of Transport (MOT) test that every five year plus old in the U.K. has to take every year.

Well this very macho British Land Rover is a first gen Range Rover classic (albeit with aftermarket headlamps). It was made between 1970 to about 1984. So it did form a classic in 2009

Still a candidate for this thread?

No they just brought the LR to the Rally in 2009 but were not allowed to enter as it was a post 1970 model. So its a Unlikely----- in Unlikely Places!

Man you have me in splits. I don't know what is surprising about seeing a Punto and a Civic in Kalyan Puri Jhuggi Cluster. Is it like a restricted zone for Fiat's and Honda's? There are Mercs seen passing through Dharavi - Bombay one of the largest slums in Asia (?). Is it unexpected too? LOL

Eh, excuse me dude. But why you think the car is in an unlikely place ? There are many phantoms in Mumbai what is so unlikely about it ?

And if you meant the wacky body job thing, it should have been posted in the weird and wacky thread, but as lots of pics have been posted earlier of the car, again no point.

For the record - The car is just a white SWB phantom all that you see it simply stick on graphics and can be removed anytime

Nice pic though !

Huh ?

I bet quite a few local tea stalls across the country serve far better tasting 'adrak wali masala chai' than what sells at CCD/Barista and the likes. Even Starbucks for that matter.

Enough of the stupid espressos, cappucinos and lattes.
Bring on the real stuff.

And fyi, money's got nothing to do with it !

Totally agree. I would prefer the roadside chai over a CCD chai anyday.

Coming back to the topic, I once saw a Chrysler (don't know which model) near Trinity circle on MG Road (Bangalore). I just saw the logo as it passed by.
Also, I have seen a Golf (it was very old) in RT Nagar.
