Nissan, in all likelihood would bring the Murano as a CBU (if they did bring it).
In that case, why would they need to test it under camouflage? They could just brind it and send directly for homologation. Isn't it so?

Since it has been spotted near Chennai and is so heavily camoed, I suspect a Nissan.
Haven't come across the W-201s with such a heavy camouflage off late.

It does not seem like a murano. Murano has 8 bars in the grill and this camo car has 6 bars like mahindra grill, but the shape seems a bit different.

It does look like a murano but i don`t think nissan would test murano with such heavily dressing as it would be a cbu and we have seen cbbus roaming about without disguise.This has to be some suv that would be locally produced for the indian market.

definately looks like a Mahindra from the front, no manufacturer would like to sport the grill of another competitor just to mislead the snoopsters. This definately is the mahindra grill and so looks like the mahindra world suv, as it is wider that the xylo.

Well if you look at the centre of the grill where the monogram is placed its identical to the Nissan Murano.
Manufacturers disguise cars to look like other brand cars and the best example can be taken of VW who where testing the Vento, the pictures of which were there on the one of the threads.The car was made to look like a Ford's car and the badges which where covered looked like Ford's too.On Discovery Turbo the show Fifth Gear featured a spy photographer who said that Bentley disguise their prototypes to look like Mercedes.So anything is possible.

this is definitely not a tata or mahindra. i think its nissan TN passing. interiors seemed to be very good with chrome dials.

Me too feels that this is Nissan Murano.
For this vehicle to be a Mahindra, front grill (more particularly the famous/infamous walrus teeth in chrome) has to have central slants to be more or less perfectly vertical rather than slanted as shown in these test mule pictures.

I just checked out the of interiors of nissan murano and this vehicle is indeed the murano but what surprises me is extensive testing of a cbu or maybe it would come as a ckd.

ACI August issue mentions that a new "upmarket" Force Motor SUV is undergoing testing that looks a cross between a Nissan SUV and a Mahindra SUV. Could be this one.

The Force SUV which was spotted has a boxy front grille like the Endy.

I have spotted the same SUV couple of months back with covers on and the front grille was somewhat similar to this one. It could be the Mahindra SUV!

Notice the JK Elanzo tires in the pic? The OE tires of the Scorpio!
