Looks like there will be a new website Maruti Suzuki Estilo - Take a fresh view of life.

Thankfully no more zen associated with the vehicle.

haha. the "zen" name is very much there in the website.

My friend wants to buy his first car. I suggested the Alto to him.
But seems like with the new engine, the Estilo would be a good suggestion.

Which is the cheapest k-series engined car from maruti?

By dropping the 'ZEN' tag from Estilo and giving a much better and protruding bonnet, Maruti is surely listening to customer feedbacks, I think.

Maruti should have done it before the launch of Ritz, and then name the current Ritz as 'ZEN'. Ritz lost its international identity ('Splash') due to some patent problems in India, and Maruti should have given Ritz a better brand name like 'Zen'. My opinion.

Discounts on current Estilo?

Does anybody has an idea about what kind of discounts are expected on the outgoing Estlio?

Hi Sid,

You had mentioned in some other thread, that Estilo will get the 1.2L engine from Ritz in 2010. Will that still happen by that time?

It's Official now. The New Estilo will be getting the 1 litre A-Star Engine and not 1.2 litre Ritz Engine. The launch is on 23rd August'09. I think there were no pictures or video's from CNBC Awaaz, as I saw only news from the Reporter.

MSI sibling fight will get tougher between tallboys Wagon R, Estilo and Ritz. Now the question is how the elder brother (Wagon R) fight rest euipped with KB - series?

I guess if Estilo is coming with KB series, it may spark doomsday for eldest brother Wagon R.

Wagon-R also may get a K-series engine (either 1.0L or 1.2L) and that will help it to carry forward the fight with its own siblings and cars from other manufacturers.
