I am not sure how did they test.. But, it is disappointing.
They must have gone crazy that poor mileage in petrol is not even reported in Linea leave alone Punto which weighs far less than Linea.
I will wait for ownership reviews and a review from Team Bhp.

I think zigwheels got the mileage figures wrong. Linea owners have reported much better mileage figures then 12kmpl. A friend of mine drives the Linea MJD from Belapur to Vikhroli (mainly highway driving) and the car regularly gives him 20kmpl. Punto should be same if not better.

The good part is that the zigwheels review says interior quality and fit and finish is much better then Linea. I guess Fiat is listening to user reviews really well. If they have corrected the chinks in the Linea so fast then kudos to them.

I doubt about all the 0-100 figures (posted and suggested)

IMO,
Petrol 1.2 - 0-100km/h in 17.57
Diesel 1.3 - 0-100km/h in 14.2

will make more sense.

from zigwheels
There's adequate grunt all the way to fourth gear while fifth is more of a highway overdrive setting and does wonders to the Grande Punto's fuel efficiency figures

This is absolutely contradictory the the above, something's wrong with zigwheels, even those timings; they're quite dissapointing, hopefully zigwheels has messed up.
What do you guys think ?
edit- You guys agree, sorry I missed out

none of the information ever posted on zig wheels is correct.
So hold on guys , let us wait for an authentic review from GTO/others.

the millage / 1-100 timings cannot be correct.

they did not find the USB because its inside the glove box i think

Saw a RED GP in Delhi

Hey Guys,

Saw a RED GP on Delhi road, just half n hour back, couldnt take any pictures as there was a lot of traffic, it was moving slowly in teh left most lane.

I think that it was on its way to a showroom.

It looked really big and broad, the nose section of the car is more like old fashioned F1 cars, oh man she was looking just awesome.

PS : Forgot to mention, the traffic was becuase of GP, everyone was slowing down to have a look at the beauty.

It is indeed a stunner. Do I see a change in your signature to "Laal Ghoda - 2009 Punto 1.3 Emotion+"

nor are these statements too appealing :(

Somehow Fiat doesn't seem to be able to get the same kind of performance out from the 1248cc DOHC oil burner and the same situation continues with the Grande Punto.

The turbo spools at a higher 2000rpm and even though you can clearly hear the exhaust gases do the twist on the turbo's vanes the surge you get when it does kick in is pretty mild.

Why Fiat, why. I was soo hoping for the Swift-like experience with the turbo kicking in!
