Looks like Toyota has played it safe with the design, the fenders,mirrors, doors and back all have hints of the previous Corolla's profile, safe and without any major styling touches. Are those 16 inch wheels on the car ??

Seats look similar to the i10/ A star design, looks like the toyota designers saved costs by integrating the headrest into the seat. Smart ! Cant see the reported single wiper though ?

Also heard that its got a central instrument pod aka, the Indica , any interior pics ? Dual tone or single tone ?

The hype created for this little crap was just more exxagerated. It looks like an old Toyota echo platform redesigned by DC. It looks much smaller then Yaris and looks really cheap.

Why is the small car called a concept, would it take a lot of months to actually come on road?

any ideas? in what time would this concept be turned to a production model available at the showroom?

True toyota does command a huge respect. Having used one for the past 3 years, my dad will take a toyota anyday over other cars. Innova is cheap to maintain with amazing reliability and hardly any rattles as well

I hope we get this priced competitively. It will give Honda a run for money, well actually the only one that can do it right now

The Etios Hatchback and Sedan seems to be based on the same platform. The Lines and shape is so similiar. I must say that both look their part without giving any scope for suspicion for either of them being a Mongrel

Yaris hatch back looks better than the Etios Hatchback and I think the Etios Sedan looks better than the Yaris Sedan.

Sales of Etios will commence from late 2010 or early 2011. Hatch will be priced simmilar to Swift. Toyota expects to sell 70K during the 1st Year.

Sorry to sound pessimistic, but I feel it'll look very outdated by then compared to the competition!

But if priced right then it will sell in huge numbers considering the Toyota Reliability!
