I remember it was Wildon who said that Hyundai Service Center guys can fix the relay but for the horns it's either Santro's/Accent's Dual horn not the ones brought by him.

My i20 has Stebel's relay installed by Driven along with Hella horn. Regarding the notification, I really don't know what Hyundai is upto but the Cover initiative seems to be very new as your car doesn't have one factory fitted.

Thanks for letting me know. I bought Asta CRDi i20 in October and already covered 3550 km. Now the challenge is to deal with the dealer to get it rubber cover fixed "free"

@tsk13, can the i20 be fitted with a lock/unlock siren as in other company fitted car security systems or can the entire security system be changed to a better one without any warranty issues??

Wildon, the ECU cable's connecting ends are prone to environmental hazards as the wires are visible. Please check with another dealer or be adamant with the concerned center to install one for free.

Piyush, I think Wildon is working on this aspect. PM him.

Sohail, tell them to give you a ring back when they've it in stock. And you know that this Service branch is very less crowded. I got my Santro's Clutch Wire installed from there without any prior appointment (I was running on an aftermarket Clutch wire) and they were quick. I can't comment on the service.

Just spoke to the technical guys at Hyundai Motor Plaza, Delhi. They informed me that this campaign to install rubber covers was there a couple of months back, however, now the company is already fitting a dummy seal inside which prevents any water or dust to go inside the main ECU system. Btw, my i20 Magna is due to delivery early next week...

I don't have the cover. Wires exposed. Now what to do? HMP guy mentions a seal or whatever, denies a rubber cover fitting campaign or equivalent.

Fusion, Brakehorsepower and Saifeen got their cars in the past week and it was without the cover. Tell HMP that this is No Limited Offer Promotion, rather it's an initiative to protect the car and is meant for all the i20's sold without the cover.

Flyingspur, get it done from any Service Center.

I hate to sound skeptical, but both seem highly improbable. Still, the Autocop / fogs can be pulled off easily aftermarket. Steering mounted controls? Don't think so.

My "i" got its first service done yesterday and while going I had taken out a printout of the ECU Cover pic but the service adviser at HMP had no clue about it and said it might be provided only by that respective Hyundai dealer. But when i stressed that it was done by Hyundai in general then he said that he will have to check it, as currently they don't have any part like that, and will let me know later.

@tsk13 Is any part number provided for this ECU Cover?

Safin, as of now I have no information if there is any specific ID/ number for this cover. I'll ask my brother to confirm it from the Service Center and shall update tomorrow.
