The "All India" Toyota Road Shows Thread

Okay . This was at Sector 34 Ground , Chandigarh . Toyota people from Punjab and Chandigarh got together and set this up . In the evening there was some program , which unfortunately i wasn't able to visit . But i got these pics though .

Mods , if the thread is unnecessary , please move to an appropriate one .

Good to see the Etios in company with the big boys. "Looks like big brothers escorting their lil' sista to first day in school"

W/o detailed reports and write ups of the show, i feel like it would have been more appropriate to post it in the Chandigarh thread

I didnt seem like one to me :P but overall it was a good thing organised by toyota.

The Etios sure does look nice and ready for india. Hope they launch it soon with a killer motor and a price tag.

I talked to the person regarding the price of the Etios . He said the Hatch should be placed something around the price tag of the i20 and not more than that . And the Sedan's base would be something round the Swift Dzire ( top) / SX4 range . That's what he said . Let's see if toyota is able to launch it within that price bracket . If its done between that , then its going to be a hit in the Indian Market . But if they stretch it too much , then its going to be something bad for the first indian toyota .

Dude ! TLC,TLCP,Etios,Etios Sedan and "PRIUS". Whatelse you need on a Proper Toyota Expo ??

Would love some interior snaps, especially Etios n Prius.

I really hope they price it right .The top model i20 costs around 8 lakhs for the diesel and 7.3 for the petrol.The etios priced around that would be perfect. ANy information about the engines on offer ? And when is it likely to be launched ? It would be nice to see the polo and the etios battle it out.

Sorry to dissaapoint you but the interior snaps aren't possible in the camry hybrid , the prius and the Etios (both) because they are up on the stage . So only cars that can be shot from inside are the LCs , Fortuner , Altis and Camry and Innova ofcourse .

@ Arjunrudra : Hate to be the bearer of the bad news bro , but nothing such told as far as i know . When i go there today , will surely ask and update all of you !

Sorry to disappoint , but the interior snaps were not possible because i went to the expo yesterday too and found that the cars were locked . So due to a bad phone cam , couldn't get clear snaps . Sorry for that fellows .

Looks like after the Auto Show Toyota is showing all its future line of cars in major cities. They are going to show case present and future launches of thier cars in Mumbai at MMRDA grounds on 6 & 7 Feb. Good for Mumbai folks like me who did not get time to visit Auto Expo.
