I heard while going through columns of Paris Motor show that Dacia was planning to set up with some India company to start selling the Dacia.

Not sure how true is that. But one thing for sure, it is a head turner!

dacia is a renault owned company now. original dacia is a romanian car company. now its been incorporated into renault.
hence if and when it does come here it will come in merely re-badged as a renault duster or something else.
will get positioned below the planned renault KOLEOS which is expected some time next year or so.
this is what I have heard/ read.

From what I know, the Yeti is supposed to come in two trims. Ambiente and elegance. Elegance will have better capability with respect to off-roading, with hill descent and ABS off-road and what not. And the Yeti will have a real-time 4x4 as standard.

Was it at Vinayak? Guys there have been telling me about 18 on road for quite sometime. But I think even they are guessing.

Thanks thats news to me. Did not know, Dacia was acquired by Renault. They have position it below the Koleos. Bringing the machine itself would be great.
Lets wait and watch. The vehicle has quite a potential, with specs as the Yeti.

Skoda getting pally with TB now!Good PR effort, good luck. Wish it also translates to good customer experience.
First official review here of any Skoda, if i'm not mistaken.

Nothing to do with pally, just respecting our objectiveness. They may not like our publicity on the verified facts about harish's car but they know that we are objective and if they are confident in their product, they know it will shine through any objectivity.

As for service, they still need to prove themselves no doubt

I would call them being very professional in allowing us to TD their vehicle. And yes, going by the likes of it, the Yeti looks all set to take on the Fortuner too, given its practicality, technology and sturdiness.

Hey Ajmat, when is the TD report out by the way? It happened on Saturday right?

I dont know, the Mumbai team did the honours. My guess that there is a press embargo until formal release. Be assured, it will be out ASAP
