Super idea for a thread. 5* given.

I have chosen option C.

Used CRDi Verna - 5 lakhs - The mule/beater/beast of burden/dependable backup
Used Accord v6 - 6 lakhs - FAST family sedan
Used 1000cc SBK - 6 lakhs - to get away from it all
Chevy Beat - 4 lakhs - Nod to the ladies at home
New Fiesta S - 8 lakhs - Best drivers car for the price, used as a fun DD.

Excluded pre owned germans/vRS from the list because upkeep is a different ball game although the initial price of a second hand one is tempting.

Since an A4 already exists in the garage if i was given another 30lakhs i would surely splurge them on multiple vehicles as i am equally in love with both cars as well as bikes. Here is how i would improvise-

Instead of buying a limo-like Accord/Superb , i would rather settle with the Cruze/Laura 1.8tsi in the 13 lakh category. They give me enough comfort, more than enough power and LOTS AND LOTS of fun in driving.

A cool 12 lakh more would go on a litre class superbike like the BMW s1000rr or the fireblade.

The remaining 5 would be spent on buying a practical hatch for city and rough driving. Maybe the swift (though i dont like it) or beat or figo would do it for me. I wouldn't care much about the brand as it would be only used to commute on the hassling city roads.

Used 5-series E-class are quite tempting.
But I might have to sell my home to pay for fuel and servicing bills, especially if this is my only car. So I have voted for "C"

However considering upkeep cost, I would go for a
fortuner(22L),
figo (TDCI) (6L) and
Royal Enfield Classic 500 (1.5L)
remaining 50K will be spent on ICE for fortuner (and the remains on figo if there are any)

I wouldn't spend it on used cars. I'd pick up the following cars as new -

a. A New Linea T-Jet (~10 lakhs)
b. A Skoda Fabia (~6 lakhs)
c. An i20 Automatic (~8 lakhs) or a Honda Jazz (same price)
d. An i10 Automatic (~6 lakhs)

Very true. A friend of mine has an A4 3.2 and the Superb V6 (among many other cars) and I was surprised to see the Superb is just about as quick as the A4. The A4 was only a bit smoother riding on the road. + you get bragging rights, same engine as a Q7.

Rated the thread 5 stars.

Since I am getting a cocktail of cars, no need for a diesel since the running will be spread out.

- Brand new ANHC 10 lakhs
- Used Civic 10 Lakhs

One of the above will be an auto tranny.

- New Innova for family drives
