Hey, We have enough boulders and stones on our roads here in bangalore. Himanshu has shifted to good ole Dilli, very far away from dusty Bangalore. We can do without more mud/boulders/stones that end up cracking our car windscreens.

While we are on the topic, one question did cross my mind when we did the Yelagiri drive last weekend. What was the carbon footprint of our drive? Seriously guys, while we do love our long and fast drives around the countryside, we cannot hide our heads in the sand and ignore the fact that Oil is a depleting natural resource.

We Indians are very careful in the sense we do track and limit our use of this resource to the extent possible - ref. our oft-discussed FE topic. We are more careful than any foreigner who will say 'huh?' if we ask them what is the FE of their cars/SUVs/MUVs.

We love our cars and if we are careful with this resource today we and the coming generations will be able to also enjoy it for longer. Considering we are the most populous nation (or soon will be) in the world, our contribution does matter.

And, no, I dont expect brickbats for this post.
