It's very difficult for me to attend this time due to RAMZAN and Eid. The final event is bang on the day of Eid. There're some family matters too.

But I am trying my maximum to get myself into the event. Atleast as a spectator or wellwisher.

I am mostly certain to make it to Cochin by 12th morning. I think binz is also joining me for the event and will be taking part too. While Akshay is doing what he is best at. Preparing himself on whether to join us or not.

Zak, if we come by bus which is the ideal place to get down? Because if its only the two of us we will be taking a bus, if we have 4-5 we will be bringing my car. Also route details to Cochin would really be helpful too. I mean the route with the best roads.

Those who're planning to come for the event from far places, it's better to stay somewhere near the airport. That's a good 30kms away from the city. There're some good hotels around the airport and the nearest town, Angamali.
PM/sms me and I will help as much as I can.

All those around Kerala! This is a fantastic opportunity to support/develop yourselves and the motorsport activities in our country. Try and get yourself in!

That post was rather well-timed.

There are plenty of choices near the airport, of which I'll recommend the following:

1. Lotus 8 - VERY well run little hotel with excellent service and a very different interior. My personal favourite.

2. Abad Airport Hotel - Good, clean and slightly expensive.

3. Quality Inn - about 3-4 kms away, but a nice place all the same. I think its the only one near the airport with a bar.

4. The Soorya - this is in Angamaly town, a few kms from the airport. Very good food, excellent service, clean rooms, sensibly priced. Has a bar (Pluto) too.

Exactly what I had in mind. Any further leads to places which are not too expensive (say around 1k per night on a twin sharing) would really help us. It would be nice to meet some of the members at the track though for a mini-meet. Not so sure, if we would be able to get to the city to meet up with the rest of them.

This guy is a little held up by the lack of Vitamin M.

To CBE, whichever way. CBE-Palghat-COK.

Very nice place. Though their breakfast, which Steeroid loved and recommended to all, is a pale imitation of its former self.

erm. Maximum or minimum !

If minimum, we add weight to bring to to par. If maximum, well, if you can fit in the seat and the kart still moves, you can enter!

Slight change in plans. Tadu will be in Cochin during the weekend as well. And I will be riding back with him on Monday afternoon.

Robin, is there any go-karting event happening at Kari on the 19-21st weekend? Because track authorities just informed me that the track is unavailable for that weekend we were planning to have a track day.
