From the pictures it looks the strip in Hyderabad is sloping and there is an incline as well. So are the timings achived on this track comparable to say at the Kharghar strip in Mumbai or Jakkur strip in Bangalore?

@ Psycho:i did hear of a another check being demanded when the zen clocked that time but noone really went ahead with it.

as for trust and honesty dont we all know about the cars that run on the track??

a turbo city running a B16 block and running the indian class..
a Bzen running with the imported 1.5 block with forged internals in street stock.
a turbo city running an imported head and so on...its not like people are gonna stop doing all this.

So the car did 13.13 not 12.4 mentioned by someone else over here,keshav the car was there for the hyderabad run aswel,its repainted white with a roll cage probably that's why you didnt notice,fahad is a good friend of mine,not taking any sides,as rightfully said by a lot of people the timing just doesnt add up,to each his own,just a request to people who post timing's please back it up with reliable links,cheers,happy revving..!

Why was Shabbir's Supra missing this time? Heard not many exotics/super cars turned up this time.

Off late, its been noticed that people brag about ripping their cars to the maximum extent at NICE Road, Bangalore or Gachibowli Outer Ring Road, Hyderabad. Where are they now?

If not for competition, atleast come down to show us your rides. Showcase your rides people. This especially goes out to all the owners of exotic/super cars in Hyderabad. Gets those rides out of the stables.

Come on people, we want to see these exotics in the flesh. We want to hear them rip, wanna groove to the ripping beat of the super cars Porsche's/Ferrari's/Lambo's & all.

Shan2nu you are missing other points, that is on pen and paper not on a drag strip, there are other factors like transmission losses, driving talent, traction, elevation, temperature, weights and luck.

The zen may be stripped down to about 600 kilos but you still have the drivers weight and the zen's lack of aerodynamics. The only way they could achieve that would be that they were producing 300 bhp min on the wheel to avoid all the other factors.

Ofcourse, i didn't say the Zen did it for real. I was only talking about the possibility of such a thing happening.

280bhp/ton is enough to achieve a 12.4 sec 1/4 mile from a well build FWD.

And anyway it did a 13.1sec 1/4 mile (which is still a very good time for a NA Bzen). It would be intreresting to know the specs of that car.

Quick correction it was running in the ZEN UPTO 1400 CC category hence a ezen.
