I had an oppertunity to check on Drag event happening this weekend so i decided to drop in & have a look at myself & i must say I am really impressed the way event has been organized everything was taken care of professionally, The participants, Specatators, food, timing display to name a few. A big thumps up for the organizers.

also got to check some nice cars & met up fellow Hyd & banglore bhpians too. Overall it was a fantastic Experience.

Some of the cars which i know which did the best timing.

All fig in E.T
1) GTR 11.35
2) CIVIC B20 Turbo driven by Jinendra jain of JAn Racing Mumbai 12.9
3) Madhus Nitrous Honda from Rajs Stable did a brilliant 13.1
4) Vasu's 8V nitrous zen did 14.5
5) Keshavs Turbo Esteem did 14.9 though he can do far better than this.hopefully to see it in 13 next time.

Game over guys collected bunch of trophies from mumbai, congratulations to Fahad kutty & his team. have also seen 1 white accord running nitrous clocking mid 13" that was simply amazing.
thats all i remember, sorry for missing out on others as offical results should be out on their website.

Thats the small summary of the event, rest look out for pics on previous post.
Enjoy...

The Porsche was a bit disappointing since the driver stalled( im guessing ) a fair few times. It was either this or the other cars were jump starting , lol . There were reruns obviously so as to not disappoint the crowd.
Mr.Hyder Khan was surely the man of the day IMO , he really proved it that we people from Hyd can get their cars tuned and beat the regular tuners we see at the events from other Citys. No offense to any tuner from any City, its just that when the events at Home,we should win Some too

Secondly his Accord was Not Stock at all,if it was stock it wouldnt have been running in the INDAN OPEN category with Shabbirs Zen. He did 12.4 if im not wrong with NOS and beat Shabbirs Zen. That accords totally tricked out,no where close to stock.

You should appreciate the courage of the Porsche guy that he got the car to race as his car is Just 5days and was done Only 500 Kms when it came for the Drags. and he surely did really good with his car being so new to him! I know both these guys personally so yes cannot be wrong.

Rehman whos from Hyd again, the guy who rode the blue R1 and Beat Shabbir did an amazing job. he really seemed like he didnt fear anything at all when he was on the track.I think they had 3-4 runs and he beat shabbir in all if im not wrong. that guy really stood out !!

Happy that finally people from Home have dont it and made the mark. This is just the beginning and will get better next time!!

You seem to have mixed up your facts with emotions That accord was done by Race Dynamics (Bangalore), yes it was indeed running nitrous , not sure if it was "NOS" brand and yes, it did a brilliant timing of mid 13.59s... Hugh achievement for a 1.6ton, auto trany car without weight loss!!!

BTW, Race Dynamics OHC vtec NA, cracked the national timing by clocking 14.94secs in its category!!!

Wolf did not participate this time, the vtec he is mentioning is another one done up by racedynamics, I think it is owned by Surya and was driven by RD Karthik as Shantanu has mentioned in one of his posts.

Had Wolf been there, it would have been the battle of the vtec's !!! A feast for eyes and ears!! lol!!

Yes sir iam aware of all that what you wrote. You Did get what i meant by NOS so dont try correcting me,not really needed. Iam pretty much sure it did 12.4ish. Yes that car sure had no weight reduction done at all,was running with everything possible as came with as stock!

I see some people with 'got bhp?' printed on their T-Shirt. Where is it available in this website?
