As far as i understand x-drive is most need in the snow. Since we have not snow in India, huge torque is should not be a problem. And ofcourse BMW can recalibrate the traction control settings as per need. Just hope they consider this as India is also almost complete diesel market!
All of that aside, can some one roughly guess how much time will it take for the M550d to hit the showrooms in Germany? Or is it that its only a concept as of now and BMW is still to decide whether to put it into production or not!
