The next-gen 2015 Skoda Superb

What's with the different finish for the front grill just below the Skoda logo? In mobile screen specially, that makes it look like a copy of the BMW kidney grill.

Had to zoom in to double check. Not a tasteful element in an otherwise elegant design.

Re: The next-gen 2015 Skoda Superb

WOW!!! Looks Awesome!

Just when i thought the Passat was extremely understated and classy comes this beauty. Truly well done by Skoda. Their design team definitely deserves a pat on the back for this one. Just love the simplicity of the design. They have succeeded in making this one look proportionate.

I think most manufacturers especially VW should learn from Skoda on how to use the family look and still be able to distinguish models from one another. While this resembles the Octavia no one will ever confuse it for the latter.

I fear the pricing may definitely touch 30L on road but it should still top the sales charts in the segment!

Can't wait to see this in flesh!

Could be an integrated radar for active safety systems like ACC? I guess.

Looks like a big A3 from the rear! German design language might be timeless, but that doesn't mean that all the designs should look similar.

The car looks simply fabulous. Who needs an A4 and C class when there's something as good as this and there's absolutely no use for the Passat here As well.

The existing top end Superb is already 29.5L (including Skoda shield) On Road. So this would definitely go over the 30L mark.

+1 to that. Perhaps another Skoda executive may lose his / her job for making the Superb better than the Passat

Happy to see that they got rid of the awkward C pillar design with this gen. Superb. The one thing I dis-liked about previous gen. Superb was its C Pillar. Glad they changed it for good.

Re: The next-gen 2015 Skoda Superb

Skoda shows how the 2016 Superb really looks. Stunning and sporty profile!

Quote:
From the front, it borrows key design themes from the bold Vision C concept car revealed at Geneva last year
The Skoda corporate grille sits prominently and is flanked by angular headlights; short front overhangs and a low nose, give a sporty profile, and gone is the old Superb’s slightly dumpy rear three-quarter look – in its place is a coupé-like roofline and flared, muscular shoulders.it’s a sober affair with the dash featuring the brand’s familiar, but conventional style. Skoda wants the Superb to be top of the pile for tech and there’s a whole host of clever gizmos.

Wow! Looks stunning! Skoda has followed up smartly after the handsome new Octavia. Even the new Passat looks gorgeous. Only the new Jetta looks a bit drab in this new company.

Let's see if this can make people to look away from the Fortuner.

I agree with you

Also previous Superb looked "obviously" larger than the Octavia, but this one looks to be of the same size of Previous Superb but the design has smartly camouflaged the size of the car and looking almost like the current Octavia.

Beautifully done

Re: The next-gen 2015 Skoda Superb

Classy look car. Love the chiselled and sharp looks. Looks like a big step up compared to the current Superb which is bit awkward in design. The Octavia family look is very evident. Nice rear design too .

Looks like its going to be loaded with all sorts of gizmos and two Umbrellas
