T Cross would be the next big launch from VW in India.

Here are exclusive rendered images of the T Cross.

An aside, if I may?

What is the point in test driving a vehicle with its aerodynamics so messed up by that disguise(?) on top of the car? Just to prove that the engine actually runs for the duration? Manufacturers have extensive private test tracks for that, right?

Is it an actual test, or a marketing tease?

It will be practical for light loads, see #63 for arriving at the loads being tested

Entering the relevant segment to India , T Cross to be shown at the Paris Motor Show( October) and the São Paulo auto show (November) this Year. Production to start in Jan 2019.

Now reports suggest in addition to the 1.0 L TSI, there will be the 1.4L TSI. The 1.4 will the sport Version GTS, developing 150 hp.

VW T Cross will go on sale in 2020 in Brazil, the first SUV of the German brand to be made will be produced in São José dos Pinhais (PR).

To be unveiled at the Paris Motor show in October and later at the Sao Paulo auto show in Brazil, the Crossover is now spied in Brazil.
Seen as a Mini Tiguan the CUV is speculated to be in dimensions larger than Ford's Ecosport.
