Will the 1.8 TSI also be produced? As far as I understand it, the 1.8 TSI has been discontinued globally in favour of the new 2.0 TSI, but VAG doesn't seem to want to bring that to India, favouring the 1.4 TSI instead (as they've done with the Audi A3 & A4).

IMHO, if they're not giving the premium cars the 2.0, they're definitely not going to have it on the Octy. Really sad, especially for me, since by the time I'm in the market for a new car, I'll probably not have the legendary TSI+DSG option to default to!
