2021 Ford Bronco does not win IIHS TSP Awards

The Bronco did not earn a Good rating in the whiplash sled test, which prevented it from scoring the award.

However, in a test simulating a stationary vehicle being struck from behind by a vehicle of the same weight traveling 20 mph, the seat did not provide enough support for the occupant’s head and neck to earn a good rating.
In addition, the headlights failed to meet criteria for both awards.

The Bronco scored Good ratings in five out of six physical impact tests (except whiplash).

40mph 25% offset rigid barrier test: Good

Side impact was the original IIHS test and not the updated one, which will become part of IIHS' regular evaluations in 2022.
