Few years back TG awarded Hyundai Accent as Europe's worst car

Most of the time he really speaks non-sense.

It is a cultural thing. It's not common in India to joke about the present/past political leaders. Whereas in the US or in Europe its pretty common.

Have you seen JeremyClarkson's "Meet the Neighbours". He tours the countries neighbouring Britain and makes fun of them in all ways possible.

"Perodua Kelisa sounds like a disease" - that was a good one.

I think one can put his/her own view in public and thats what freedom of speach means and he's only putting his views forward and so no one can stop him even i feel Perodua Kelisa is not a good car

well . . their team said the Hyundai Accent was the worst car. . becase of the quality of cars they driver there. Also they pronounced it as 'Hyundai ACCIDENT'

And if he has said that perodua. . is the worst car. . . whts wrong with that ???? you have to accept it. . .

e.g : captain slow once drover our TATA INDICA V2, and he said IT WAS THE WORST CAR HE HAD EVER DRIVEN.

Now we have to consider they drive the maseratis, ferrari. . and the likes. COmpared the those cars . . these are not 'as per standard'. By their saying that . . doesnt MAKE it the worse car in the world. For them it MIGHT BE, for us its MEETS our requirements so we BUY it.

The same way acc to J.C. PEROGUA or wathever the name is . . .is the worse car in the world So let it be.

p.s : Top gear has to be seen as INFOTAINMENT and NOT as the benchmark for good cars / bad cars / worse cars. JC said that the COROLLA too was unimginative. . .or whatever. . But it still is the worlds MOST SELLING CAR.

For me JC is THE BEST TV PRESENTER. Better than Jay Leno, better than Larry king. . .

Rather than Complaining . . .Perogua should try to make their product better or IGNORE what these chaps are saying.

you are 100 % correct on it. . but he is very witty too, and has a very dark, brit sense of humour which is very cool and entertaining.

i dont quite see the problem! he is the host of a popular british motoring show and he is doing his job of letting people know about his opinion of cars which land up for review........

lets not comment about what good a job he does..... he is just giving his opinion.

what next?! i get arrested for telling people i dont like the mc donalds burger?! jeez!

But minister Abdul Raman Suliman defended the nation's car industry, saying Mr Clarkson was like a football commentator who cannot play football.
I think the minister has said all that needs to be said.

i find it humourous that Mr Abdul Raman had to 'defend' his nation's car industry ... let the product speak for itself ... why be provoked so easily ??? there is no need ... (he's a brit afterall)

I have a video called Clarkson's Top 100, where he rates the top 100 cars of the 20th century. In that one too he played a games of 'skittles'(where he lines up 4 vertically and then uses the 5th car to knock them down, sitting in a huge crane) with the 5 worst cars of the century according to him.....

so, JC is known for pulling stunts like this and i guess you just ignore these schenanigans....
