Hi Mates, my two fils (cents in the local currency)! Spotted this Bentley Continental GT sometime back in Al Mulla Plaza whence driving to work. What caught my attention was the color. Simply brilliant. And by the way, it was lady-driven

Subaru, hasn't been a really well marketed car in Dubai/UAE and hence, relatively smaller number

The attached picture is one of the few WRXs in town

Really a nice car. Had an opportunity to take this particular one for a spin and it was one of the better experiences I had in driving machines with a sporting pedigree.

This seems to be the mighty 310 bhp WRX STI which is completely different from the lesser spec'd 265 bhp WRX.

Unfortunately these are not marketted and supported well in this part of the world, reason could be the regulations that do not support performance mod and lack of good mechanics. Moreoever they come only in manual gear (sti comes in automaic with paddles as well) which is not at all preferred or resellable in this region, whereas as in America, Europe, Australasia where you find real car enthusiast's; these cars are very popular.

That is most definitely NOT a Sport Classic.

The 997 Sport Classic also has Fuchs wheels and the Duck-Tail just like this one, but it also has a double-bubble-roof, and this one doesn't have that. Also, the Sport Classic was available only in a particular shade of white and it also has silverish stripes. Not to mention two exhaust pipes as opposed to the four on this particular 997.

This one looks like a kitted GTS, but it's a nicely kitted 997 I must say.

No worries mate!

It's easy to mistake it for a Sport-Classic. Porsches are generally difficult to identify accurately.

Oh, and the Sport Classic has clear tail-lights. Also, the entire interior was draped in coca-leather too. Somethings I'd forgotten to mention.

Special delivery Ajit - and it doesnt get any more special than this. They delivered Dubai #1 while (or probably before) you guys were driving this in Essaouira.
