Thought I would post pictures of some vehicles not commonly seen on the "roads" of Dubai

The Unimog Recovery and Hino Recovery were doing duty in the recently done Gulf News Fun Drive (Desert Drive)

The Brabus Unimog was spoted in the used car market in Dubai

Went to Burj Khalifa area yesterday for Emirates Classic Car festival but ended up finding these

Bugatti Veyron in yellow black

a glimpse of Fashion Avenue valet parking

Had gone to my friends business place for a cup of coffee and some auto talk.

He had a rare custome dropped in for a health check (not that anything was wrong with it)

Jag E Type - with a V 12 and a convertble at that

I think it deserves a place here

Isn't that the one they rebuilt from ground up - where they practically recreated the E Type body shell at their shop?

Or is it just another customer - they have quite a few E Types visiting that garage.

Nope, this is not the one they did the ground up resto - that car is now in UK. The owner is now back in UK, if I am not mistaken

They have another E Type V8 awaiting ground up restoration. Its in the "parts collection phase", I am told.

Paid a visit to Al Ain Class Motors a few weeks back named as the World's Best Supercar dealership by Topgear.

A friend of mine works at Ford and is chief of marketing in the middle east. He had gone to visit his Dubai dealer and was offered a drive in this beauty. She was just getting setup and ready for a spin around the city.
