Earlier, a black six-door Mercedes (don't remember the model) used to be the official car of our President. It was auctioned-off around a decade back because it wasn't bullet proof. Cyrus Poonawala bought it. Can anyone can locate its picture?

Why would you use a lexus if you were the crown prince of monaco?? Shoudnt you be using like a custom made trillion dollar ferrari or something!!! OR a similar Rolls!!! BTW, I just noticed, no one uses a rolls royce!! Why so?? what are they not good enough??

I believe the Poonalwala's bought the pullman 600 or 500 which was in production between late 60's through early 80's..the one with the standing head lights a la w108/109 I forget the series now. There is another such car with a mumbai guy who loves to hoard cars he has some of the rarest restored/unrestored cars and his pullman was used by the Maharashtra governer in the 80's as well. I believe pistures of this car are else where on the post ...it is not dirven but put on stands!! cheers
