Nice cars there Vert1go

With all those beasts I am sure you must be paying a hefty Insurance premium

Btw with all those highway speed limits where do you get to rip these machines?

Off the top of my head, I think the Camaro SS runs about $32,000US and the ZR-1 about $110,000US. I could be mistaken though.

Right now I'm sitting tight, hoping that GM will introduce the Z28, which will have 550+ HP - of course the recent turn of events could change that. I'm hoping though, because that's what I would really like.

Thanks Insurance isn't much, since I have a good driving record. It could get expensive if I got a lot of traffic tickets though. Although our highways here have speed limits (around 70 MPH where I live), there are many areas where this is not a concern

Thats nice to know, else driving a muscle car below the speed limits could be quite frustrating

Hey Vert1go,

Haha I've just read what you've had to go through to post pictures of your ride.
Anyways, you surely have some awesome rides!
How's the performance on the Mustang? I plan to buy one if I'm gonna go to the US for uni. Is it worth the penny?

Cheers.

My Camaro had some mods to it, but I sold that car years ago. The Mustang and Corvette are factory stock. The Mustang has a 4.6 liter V8, 300 horsepower. It has a 5-speed automatic transmission and it performs very, very well. It shifts very fast and I dare say it's as quick as the manual transmission (my girlfriend has a 2006 Mustang GT with a 5-speed manual). The Mustang also has the "premium" package which has the aluminum panels on the dashboard, multi-color options on the guages, and the 1000-watt stereo. I really like the car - it handles great and has plenty of power. I'll make a short video this week of some accelleration runs if you want and post it here.

I try to keep them clean, and I always take very good care of everything I own, not just cars. I think the Mustang is worth every penny, it's a fantastic car.

The truck is a 2001 Chevy Blazer ZR-2. The ZR-2 is the off-road package that adds a full ladder frame, bilstein shocks, larger wheel bearings, fender flairs, larger tires, and a larger rear differential with 4:11 ratio. I use this truck for towing the boats and the "dirty" work. It's powered by the 4.3-liter Vortec V6, 200 horsepower. I really like this truck, it has plenty of power and it's really fun to drive. It has about 80,000 miles on it now.
