There could be a problem with Kimi's engine. Massa has the faster car, but Alonso has the confidence behind him. Massa to win with Alonso second. Purely because of Ferrari's better pit stop skills/tactics.

That was a very good race by the Mclarens, both Alonso and esp Hamilton,he looks like a very good driver.Dont know what happened but the Ferrari were very much off the race pace just like last year and one thing is certain Massa docent know how to make an overtaking move and especially make one stick.

Congrats to both Mclaren and their drivers...just goes to show that this year is going to be dominated by Mclaren and a little by Ferrari too...

An Awesome Race, long time since Mclarens came 1 & 2. Thoroughly enjoyed the race. The way Hamilton handled the pressure was exellent. Congrats to Alonso and Hamilton... Nice last minute efforts by Kimi but a little too late i guess... That move by Massa was really stupid. May be if he had stayed behind hamilton for few more laps he might have got a better opportunity to overtake him ...

Maybe Massa felt that Hamilton being a rookie would make a mistake or just let him go. McLarens worked to a plan and they won.

I guess Kimi and Massa are trying to prove that each one respectively is the leader in Ferrari. Massa becoz he's the senior in Ferrari and Kimi because he thinks he's a better driver !!!

Dont want to stir up controversy, but I was very dissapointed with Massa and Kimi for not making 100% use of their machinery.

The one question that is ringing in everyone's mind is , "If Schumi was with Ferrari, he would have definetly brought it home in 1st place"

I think Kimi was still slightly concerned about the water leak from the engine in Melbourne. So he took it a bit easy. But hey that's just me saying.
But I really liked the way the McLarens owned the Ferraris.

I really wish Kimi was still in McLaren.

Then Mclaren definitely would'nt be where they are right now. Even BMW would have been ahead of them. Just see what Alonso's departure has done to Renault. Alonso is in the same mould as Schumi. Besides being a good driver, he has the ability to communicate to the engineers what he wants and what needs to be done to achieve a close to perfect balance in the car. Kimi is a good driver period.

Yup, I think Floyd's hit the hammer on the nail.

I am sour abt Kimi defecting to Ferrari, but that's because I had never guessed Hamilton would rock so hard. Getting a rookie and a champ in one team might work to McLaren's favour.

Kimi is an awesome driver, but he doesn't probably have the ruthlessness of Alonso. The move by Schumi on McLaren in the last few laps at Interlagos '06 would probably have not been possible had Alonso been in Kimi's place.

Still to early to speak, and Alonso says there were some problems they expect to be sorted out by the second half of the season. Let's see...
