Ferrari have had a dramatic change in key team members, and Renault have lost Alonso. I also dont think too much of their drivers lineup.

I expect Mclaren to be the team to beat in 2007. But as they say....its too early and Australia will tell.

It better be McLaren... if they cannot take advantage of their line up and all the changes in other teams, it will be shameful on their part!

Ferrari apart from having a reliable car also had intelligent people making the right strategy decisions during the race. If all the shake-up in Ferrari has not changed the decision making ability, then Ferrari and Kimi/Massa are going to be champs.
But McLaren should be able to pull themselves together now!!!

Kimi is the popular choice.
Not surprising coz like Micheal he has a unique style.
DO or die.
I hope he makes Alonsi bite the dust. That Spanish Omelet won last year by sheer fluke

First of all it seems really wierd not to see MS's name in the poll list above. But I guess we have to get used to it. I feel the battle will be between Alonso and Kimi for top honours this season. Alonso's success depends on his Mclaren reliability though.

I would love Kimi to win the WDC this year for Ferrari but in the poll I'm voting for Massa. They guy has matured over time and in the last season he was fabulous. He is the top contender apart from the Finn and the Spainish guy.

I'm going to be following him closely. At the moment he knows more about the Ferrari than Kimi

McLaren has also had a fair share of its changes

i.e Drivers Fernando Alonso and Hamilton are new drivers to McLaren

Comparitively i would say Ferrari and renault are more stable but Renault is being speaheaded by Fissy not the ideal banzai kind of driver for winning a champion ship

its been rumoured that ross brawn has been offered a position at mclaren for a hefty sum... if that happens, mclaren will be a very strong contender. (provided they have a car that car run the entire race).

regards
tifosi.

McLaren has changes in driver lineup just like every other top team. But not too many team personnel changes. Everyone has a learning and adapting curve. Given the number of new people in new roles in Ferrari, McLaren has to deal only with new drivers. And both drivers are good at what they do... Renault has all the right ingredients for a great team... But Fisi can be ruin it for them.
So that leaves McLaren in a very good spot to take the early advantage. If they can win some of the opening races and pile up a good number of points then it will be a matter of defending the score.

McLaren. It seems to be a team with fresh focus and outlook after their drivers/personnel shuffle. The first post-Adrian Newey car to be designed at McLaren completely new. Unlike the previous one which had its underpinnings from Newey the previous year.

Also being a McLaren fan, I've proposed to Ron Dennis that I'll give him a free invite to Team-BHP if he wins this one.

Yes, but they can't keep up with the pace of the Ferrari, McLaren or Renault. Plus they don't have such highly ranked drivers or race engineers. But there will be battles btw Toyota, Honda and RedBull probably
