Great qualifying and bridgestone have done an excellent job at their home track. Looks like its going to be Ferrari day tomorrow. The race will be even more exciting.

It seems like a Ferrari day. But I just love to hate it.

What if one of the toyotas make it to the podium?

Would love to see that happen.... or may be an interesting race in the lines of the Hungarian GP... I'd rather have toyota taking the podium in front of their home crowd

I'd love to see Schumacher win!!! (Yes, the younger one in Toyota)
And The elder one finish 2nd and take the title while Fonsy finish 3rd and Fisi finish 4th to gift Renault a constructor's title which will make Flavio stop bad mouthing for a while!!

Ain't it a wish worth seeing in real??

Fair enough I guess. Everyone goes home a happy man... (except Fonsi ofcourse... don't care much for him lately)

This season is turning out to be very similar to the book "Driven to Extremes - MS".....Hope it doesn't end that way.. :-)

Massa impeding Alonso...

After qualifying in Suzuka Renault F1 boss Flavio Briatore attacked Ferrari's number two driver Felipe Massa, accusing him of blocking Fernando Alonso for a number of laps at the start of the final Q3 qualifying session.
"Fernando on the radio was complaining," said Briatore. "If you are fighting with McLaren it's fine. If you fight with these guys it is impossible."
The question that must now be answered is whether or not the incident should result in any penalty. It is different to the incident in Monza when their positions were reversed in that Massa was behind Alonso and Fernando was on a warming up lap rather than a flying lap. That resulted in Alonso's best three times being deleted and made life very difficult for him in the race. In this case the two were both on flying laps. There is no reason why Massa would have been that much slower than Schumacher but there are any number of possible explanations which might be true. If Massa had a problem, however, he should perhaps have moved aside and allowed Alonso to go ahead but with such minimal amounts of time involved it is hard to imagine that there will be any punishment.
Briatore clearly does not believe there will be any punishment.
"We will tell Charlie (Whiting)," he said, "but nothing will happen. We already know what the answer will be."
That remark will not go down well with the FIA.

I missed qualifying so can anyone who saw it please shed some furher light on the matter...

Oh, on the final qualifying session, MS was the first to go out followed by massa and fonsi... during the out lap, massa was deliberately slowing down alonso.... our man (sorry baby), soon went out on radio to complain about massa. later alonso was told to slow down to give himself enough distance for a clear run... thats about it.
