What a fantastic win for Vettel . He did not put a wheel wrong throughout the race and led all the way from pole to race win. Ferrari seem to be having some problems at the moment but Massa drove a good race and Kimi seems to have faded away this season. Excellent third place from Kubica in an all wet race.

And I'm sure Vettel is on Ferrari's WANTED list now. And yes it was nice to hear the German anthem followed by the Italian one.

I agree with both F50 & Steeroid. Hamilton deserves to be punished for his atrocious move on Webber. Earlier Hamilton also toyed around with Alonso soon after he overtook him the first part of the race. As the commentators said, he's not going to be a popular man at the next driver's meeting.

I normally don't watch the post race show on Star Sports as it contains a lot of contests etc etc but today I switched on the tv towards the end of the program & was pleasantly surprised to see a preview of the Singapore GP and also a Flying lap simulation by the Red Bull racing team. It looks awesome.

Kimi's still in touch with both Hamilton & Massa but it looks really remote now. Hope something dramatic happens in the next 4 races. But the biggest gainer in today's race was Kubica. Finishing 3rd after starting 12th is just superb. Even he has a long shot at the championship, as he's just 14 points behind the leader. And considering that Kimi overcame a 9 point deficit to win last year's chamionship in the very last race, anything is possible.

Does it have something to do with the absence of a certain Jean Todt & Ross Brawn? Strategically, Ferrari always seem to be lagging behind.

What a race and what a control amazing stuff showcased ! Great efforts by the team too, just hear the post race conference what a maturity he had !
I say promote Vettel to a better team and put rudely behaving Hamilton into poor performing team for I clearly could see what he is worth of !!

some of the Bhpians and I as well were standing behind Hami for the Belgian GP, well that was a different case all together, I thought of the sport on the whole but now for that same reason I just don't like that silver arrow driver.

True. But, Hamilton's fighting for the championship and Alonso should not expect any favours from Hamilton. Remember, last year he took great pleasure in bumping him off the track even though he was in the same team. Webber had anyway lost it on the brakes.
Hamilton is a hard wheel to wheel racer who wants to win at any cost. I like that. If the FIA finds that he's doing it far too often and has a problem with that, they should ban him outright. There's no room for softies in Formula 1.

Anything that goes up, must come down. Every party has to come to an end. Look at Williams today. After all those years with Prost and to some extent, Hill and Villeneuve at the wheel, they're nowhere.

i THINK this was an awesome drive by hamilton. To come from 15th on the grip to 7th is just awesome. Its true had it rained he would have even taken vettel. THE NEW KING OF THE WET. Lewis Hamilton.

Last year, I liked Hamilton since he played the modest rookie and didn't talk too much.
This year, I don't know if its the #1 Mclaren seat , he's just shooting his mouth off.
He very very well deserved Spa treatment.

Excellent drive by Vettel, very well deserved first formula1 wind. He's going to have every team's attention, just like Webber did when he brought Minardi points at the Australian GP.
I was really hoping Massa could bag a couple of more points than he did, he could atleast moved up a place or two from where he finished.
Like someone mention, Ferrari seem to always be slightly off with their strategy, back in the days they would have literally eaten this race with two podiums!

He is young and aggressive.. that was an aggressive race he drove today.. That was extremely good overtaking moves he made today. He knows he has got a real good chance of winning the championship this year. As long as he does not go overboard and keeps his aggresssion in control, no complaints as such.

It was good drive, but that doesn't mean he would have won if it continued raining. He is just obsessed with himself. No one wins races on ifs and buts.

The switch to the intermediate tires killed Hamilton's chances in the race. If McLaren had put intermediates during the fuel stop, or if he was on a two stop strategy from the start, he would have been a guaranteed second, if not first.

Bad strategy by Ron Dennis and McLaren. But they might also have been concerned with Hamilton's performance with the intermediates during qualifying. Although he seemed to be alright during the race.

That is where Hamilton goes wrong, F1 race is not a free for all race, the drivers needs to abide by the FIA rules and regulations, needs to show some courtesy to fellow drivers and also have some common-sense!
Plain aggression wouldn't lead you anywhere!

This was Hammy's 2nd season, I thought he would have learnt some lessons after his 1st season, but sadly no!
