anybody interested in A1 GP?

Question: Is it possible to change your country's driver halfway through the season in A1GP.......since its the country that's participating?

M Power ,

You can change the driver at any time as long the driver has the necessary documents and necessary qualifications . (Ref: to Karun's Case)

I guess we need to see a change in driver , and may be then we can expect some better results in the races.

I know KC and Armaan were nominated as the 2 drivers and you can change between them, for example put Ebrahim in the car and KC on the bench. But, can you bring in a totally new driver......like NK for instance.

Reason I ask is because South Africa had a diferent driver for Brands Hatch and for Germany they brought in Thomas Shekter who just wrapped up IRL season in the states.

I know NK needs some rest, but our country could sure use some expertise in A1. National honor at stake man. Cant let Adam Khan get away like this.

I dont see why they cant do that . In fact I was told that they even tested 2 more drivers besides KC & AE , for the AI India team.

This is not a company backed team , and its Team India , so i dont think there should be any problem in getting some new drivers or as a matter of fact Aarman to drive the next race or even NK if he decides to drive for the series.

I would feel nice if we field some one who is in a position to get the on the podium and definately beat ADAM Khan , and other also in the race .

the pride of the country is at stake and we need to put our best drivers in the seat so that the TRI COLOR is on top .

Lets hope they get their act together really fast .

The ievitable has happened. Armaan Ebrahim has been nominated at the team India driver for Portugal. KC dosen't even figure as the 2nd driver. Anybody has more detail news?

No idea , why they did not nominate him as you can niminate at least 2 drivers in case the first one is not in a position to race for some reasons :WTF: ,but i am sure there will be some explanation for this . I however Tried calling Vicky Chandok to find out , but getting his voice mail. Also have shot a mail to KC tofind out more . will advise when i get a reply.

In the mean while best of Luck To Arman . hopefully we wil be onthe podium this time ..

Team india has qualified in the last place, i was expecting something much better than this from Armaan.

no no not Narain in A1 gp i want him to come back better in formula one just waiting for a team to sign him up and i pray williams sing him up trust me he will be too good i think narain is a very good driver he just needs his type of car thats it a proper car which has a good balance and more speed am sure he will show his colours

yeah adam khan of pakistan he has totally given suprise to me that yes pakistan are in motorsports circuit otherwise i always thought pakistan is lame in motorsports well..good luck to him but to be honest team india needs other good drivers forget about karan and abrahim infact abrahim is still a kid i dont think he can really perform in this world class sport
